The new Mi Auto-Empty Robot Vacuum inherits the 3D TOF visual obstacle avoidance system from the Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 1T. This 3D TOF sensor provides the robot with X-Cross™ 3D All-Scenario Intelligent Obstacle Avoidance technology, achieving millimeter-level perception accuracy for three-dimensional obstacle avoidance. Empowered by this high-precision 3D TOF sensor, the robot reliably avoids obstacles like charging cables and toy blocks during cleaning. Even in pitch-dark nights, it accurately identifies and navigates around floor obstacles, significantly enhancing the robot's versatility.
Beyond high-precision obstacle avoidance, the 3D TOF sensor also scans the surrounding environment in real-time. When encountering low furniture like coffee tables or bed frames, it proactively measures the dimensions of the clearance and assesses passability. This ensures the robot avoids becoming stuck while maximizing cleaning coverage.
