The new Mi Auto-Empty Robot Vacuum inherits the 3D TOF visual obstacle avoidance system from the Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 1T. This 3D TOF sensor provides the robot with X-Cross™ 3D All-Scenario Intelligent Obstacle Avoidance technology, achieving millimeter-level perception accuracy for three-dimensional obstacle avoidance. Empowered by this high-precision 3D TOF sensor, the robot reliably avoids obstacles like charging cables and toy blocks during cleaning. Even in pitch-dark nights, it accurately identifies and navigates around floor obstacles, significantly enhancing the robot's versatility.

Beyond high-precision obstacle avoidance, the 3D TOF sensor also scans the surrounding environment in real-time. When encountering low furniture like coffee tables or bed frames, it proactively measures the dimensions of the clearance and assesses passability. This ensures the robot avoids becoming stuck while maximizing cleaning coverage.

Sunny OIT’s self-developed miniaturized 3D TOF sensor module is already in mass production and supplied to multiple robot vacuum manufacturers. Beyond miniaturization, Sunny OIT has invested heavily in R&D to conduct in-depth testing and validation in real home environments. They offer a range of 3D TOF products with different specifications. The wide-angle solution, in particular, effectively reduces blind spots, minimizing the chance of unexpectedly encountering obstacles at corners. Concurrently, Sunny OIT’s self-developed point cloud generation algorithms and filtering algorithms empower this wide-angle solution, enabling robot vacuums to "see" with greater clarity and a broader field of view.
