On December 21st, the inaugural China Smart Home Summit (CSS) 2021 grandly opened in Shenzhen. Representatives from numerous upstream and downstream smart home enterprises, including Sunny OIT, Dongwu Shian, Dedun, Royal Gold Shield, National Chip, Haier, TCL, and others, gathered at the summit. Participants focused on the industry's development pulse, gained insights into its trends, and jointly discussed the future of smart homes.
Luke Zhou, Marketing Director of Sunny OIT, was invited to attend the summit and delivered a keynote speech titled "Smart Optics: Unlock the Difference."
Commencing his presentation, Luke introduced Sunny OIT by referencing the over 30-year development history and business portfolio of its parent company, Sunny Group. He highlighted how Sunny OIT presents a distinct perspective compared to the common perception of Sunny Group within the industry. From a strategic mission perspective, Sunny OIT, as a subsidiary of Sunny Group, undertakes one of the Group's key strategic focuses: "Robotic Vision." Leveraging strong technological reserves, the company has concentrated on and deeply cultivated 3D depth vision sensing for years, establishing two main product lines: Recognition and Positioning.
Sunny OIT in the Context of Smart Homes: Its vision technologies have been successfully deployed across various smart home application scenarios, ranging from household sweeping robots to domestic service robots, smart TVs to smart fitness mirrors, and smart speakers to smart lamps.
Luke emphasized that smart door locks represent a crucial segment within the Recognition product line for smart homes. Building on years of accumulated advantages in vision solutions, Sunny OIT has strategically developed full 3D technology portfolios, including Structured Light, Time-of-Flight (ToF), and Binocular vision. All core optical components are self-developed and manufactured in-house. Furthermore, the company offers an integrated service encompassing "Vision Hardware + Image Algorithms + Application Algorithms + Cloud Service App," providing layered empowerment for smart door lock vision systems and delivering customized services tailored to diverse client requirements. "Sunny OIT is by no means dabbling; we are committed to deep cultivation in this field," he stated at the event.
Regarding 3D facial recognition security, Sunny OIT has established a million-scale facial ID database, continuously enhancing module security. Its solutions have passed the Bank Card Test Center (BCTC) Enhanced Level certification for facial recognition and liveness detection.
