Sunny OIT Presents at "Unisoc 2020 Market Summit"

With the advent of the 5G and AI era, the information technology revolution is rapidly transforming our world. On November 9-10, the "Imagination Born from Chips · Technology Serves the People" 2020 Unisoc Market Summit was grandly launched. For the first time, the summit adopted a hybrid "online + offline" format. The online launch event commenced on November 9th via the cloud, unveiling a series of heavyweight products including a complete 5G radio frequency front-end solution.

On November 10th, the offline summit gathered numerous partners and industry leaders at the Shanghai International Convention Center. Participants explored and interpreted hot topics such as intelligent technology development and smart connectivity in the 5G era through multiple concurrent forums, including 5G+AI Industrial Innovation Technology, Industrial Interconnection, and Smart Wearables. At the "Technology Empowering Finance and Commerce" session within the Industrial Intelligence Interconnection Forum, Xu Sheng from Unisoc opened proceedings. He outlined how Unisoc is seizing opportunities presented by trends to serve the financial payments industry, detailing the innovative application explorations Unisoc has undertaken in response to the sector's development opportunities. He also announced Unisoc's comprehensive product roadmap targeting financial payments.

In a keynote speech titled "Technology Empowerment for Building a Secure Ecosystem in Industrial Intelligence Interconnection", Li Xiaowei, Vice Chairman of the National Financial Technology Testing Center (National Financial IC Card Security Testing Center, National Bank Card Testing Center), a national authoritative financial technology testing institution, stated that China has taken a leading position globally in the rapid development of financial payments, making financial security the most critical element.

"In recent years, the leapfrog development of facial recognition technology has propelled facial recognition payment to the forefront of contactless payment. Seeing the structured light facial recognition module product jointly developed by Unisoc and Sunny Optical at the event clearly demonstrates how both companies are continuously launching innovative products aligned with technological trends, driving the vigorous growth of industrial intelligence interconnection," he commented.

Dr. Pan, Deputy General Manager of Sunny OIT, delivered a speech themed "3D Vision Empowers Financial Payments". He shared the company's roadmap and latest advancements in robotic vision, specifically highlighting the "structured light depth camera" co-developed with Unisoc.

He pointed out, "Facial recognition payment is becoming increasingly vital alongside the booming development of financial payments. Facial recognition payment and other forms of contactless payment will coexist complementarily rather than replace each other. The security of facial recognition will also be a critical focus for future industry implementation."
